Enjoy High Value Adsense Clicks
Choosing the correct keywords to target on your site can be a dilemma for some people, whilst others instinctively know what additional phrases they should be referencing on their sites.
Here’s something that I found very interesting on the WP Goldmine forum the other day where I am a member – it was written by a guy called Mike who is a customer of mine, and I really feel that his idea has a lot of merit and it should prove to be profitable.
I obtained Mike’s permission to publish his words on my blog.
Here’s Mike’s plan:
I came up with a plan. I found an exact-match domain with over 1,000 searches per month and over $1 Adsense. Ok, good so far. But after that I never know what to do with other keywords. So I had an idea.
Choose a total of 10 keywords for each website. The first keyword is the domain.
Then choose 4 others that have the highest Adsense based around the domain keyword. These 4 don’t have to be easy to rank as you will see in a second.
Then, choose 5 keywords based upon how easy they are to rank and with the most traffic. It doesn’t matter what their Adsense is (it could be $.05) because you just want the traffic.
Write a post for each keyword.
Then, using George’s Magazine Style Recent Posts plugin put the 4 highest Adsense posts in the right sidebar at the top so they appear on every post.
As far as promotion and backlinks, only focus on backlinking the easy to rank keywords at first. Use them to get traffic coming in.
The idea is that the low-paying keywords will be much easier to rank and will pull in traffic.
With George’s Magazine Style Recent Posts plugin showcasing only the high paying keywords we can funnel users in to the money pages.
That’s it – simple but effective IMO.
