I first got interested in Internet Marketing (IM) in 2008 to earn money part time (and to earn money more easily). I had two jobs and a fair chunk of debt. I wanted to find out if I could do some part time work at home and make money on line.
Here’s what happened; it probably sounds familiar to you.
How I Became A Full Time Internet Marketer
Between January 2008 and April 2009 I jumped from system to system and nothing seemed to work. The so-called ‘gurus’ were all spouting similar BS. I guess the purveyors of these systems made their money from selling their system and NOT from using their system!!
In total I spent around $4000 in those 16 months trying to find out how to earn money on the internet. All I got was deeper in debt.
I was a mug. I got sucked in. Many times.
Then one day by chance I stumbled across a video for a piece of software called Micro Niche Finder (MNF). I managed to scrape up the cash and bought it. I installed the software and watched some videos, and I had this wonderful feeling for the very first time that I was actually now going to make this all happen.
I just needed a plan and a strategy now.
Then about two weeks later, I got an email from the guy at MNF recommending that I checkout somebody who was making a full time living from Internet Marketing.
Guess what? It all made so much sense. Absolutely no BS. His name was Mark Thompson, the owner of WP Goldmine, and I bought into it on the spot (you can read what I think about it here … WP Goldmine).
I immediately felt like that the tide was turning – I had my plan and my strategy now.
These two decisions (buying MNF and subscribing to WP Goldmine) were pivotal in changing my life for the better.
One important thing I learned was that there are no overnight riches. It takes work to make money online. During May, July and August 2009 I got to grips with everything that WP Goldmine had to offer. By September 2009 I was starting to pull in some much needed income. It increased almost every month thereafter – regular monthly recurring income!
I became a full time Internet Marketer in April 2010 and I have never looked back.
I can choose the hours and days that I want to work. I am at the stage now where I can go on holiday for a month or more, yet my recurring monthly income just keeps getting paid into my bank! That feeling is really good.
I am not a millionaire and I’m not a guru. I do though love and live the IM life and I’ve never been happier. I hope this will inspire you to become a successful Internet Marketer too.
